IMR stands for Import, Manufacturing, Retail: we import the special, we manufacture the impossible and we supply what industry needs every day.
More than a decade solving industry's needs from Bucaramanga, Colombia: first assembling, then manufacturing, and today importing and supplying for the entire Andean region.
We began as an industrial assembly company working inside plants: industrial piping, water and sewage systems, with participation in civil works and steel structures.
We understood we could not be both installers and suppliers. We incorporated Industrias IMR S.A.S. and focused on what we did best: industrial supply.
We bought machines and equipment and set up threading, turning, bending, punching and welding processes to manufacture the fittings and prefabricated parts that projects and assemblies demand.
That workshop gave us deep knowledge of fluid conduction fittings, pneumatic components, supports and anchors, engineering materials and welding consumables.
We complemented that commercial experience by partnering with a company that manufactures in China. Today we produce together, and that muscle supplies the group's six divisions.
